Venurice turned her head to where Knight was. Her face instantly lit up. "Hi, Knight."

Venurice was anxious to see Knight again when he returned from hunting.

(Sorry for triple post)

Venurice was becoming restless. Where was Knight? Even hunting a whole herd shouldn't take this long. Plus, she really wanted to talk to her mate... about pups... She closed her blue eyes. Ven felt a light raindrop on her nose. Getting up from her resting place, she squeezed into the den entrance. The den entrance was small, but soon opened up into a somewhat spacious room, with enough space for her, Knight, and a good-sized litter of pups. Of course, without pups yet, there was plenty of space for the worried Venurice to lay alone "I sure hope he's alright..." she sighed. The warm day that she had earlier was gone. She felt miserable. She didn't know where Knight was, the sky had turned gloomy, and thin, black clouds had blocked whatever was left of the sunset. Soon, she fell asleep, the rhythmic sound of rain pattering on the roof of the den.

She woke up early in the morning the next day. The first thing she noticed: Still no sign of Knight... At least the rain was gone. The forest was covered in a fog-like mist. 'Maybe not the best time to gather moss, but last night was sure uncomfortable...' she thought, running off to gather bedding for the den.

(wow, probably my longest post ever...)
