Chaos kept running, kicking up water as she did. She's never felt as happy as she did today.

Ulfang reared up on his hind legs, only to fall backwards seconds later. When he surfaced he laughed and coughed and still tried to peruse Chaos.

Chaos made a sharp turn, and slipped in the muddy ocean bottom. She tumbled into the water, making a loud splash. She surfaced seconds later, laughing.

Chaos swam over to Ulfang and jumped out of the water, licking his cheek. She fell back into the water with a splash, spraying water on her mate.

Ulfag was soaked to the bone, but the day couldn't have been better. He laughed as a spray of water washed over him.

Chaos finally climbed out of the water, dripping wet. She shook her fur, and stretched out her wings, which were glossy with water. She'd have to take care of them later.

Ulfang walked out of the waves and shook droplets of water off of his fur.

It was in the afternoon. They couldn't go yet, though. They still needed to watch the sunset. The perfect end to a perfect day.

Chaos padded to a nearby cliff that led out to the sea. She looked out into the pink sky, the sun just sliding behind the horizon.

Chaos sighed as the sun sank into the sea, which turned into fire as it reflected the giant star.

Ulfang nuzzled Chaos. An orange fire streaked the sky as the sun fell behind the water.
