Brake me shake me

Quake silently stalked through the sea of white.His 'dirty' white coat blended almost perfectly with the snow.Red eyes showed a evil glint in them.He smirked to himself.He was plotting agian...plotting something violent...

Blood shadow a little away, was plotting as well. the Small Hawkfrost was asleep in his fur. his eyes look like stone balls as his thoughts took him to what he coudl do, and who to kill next. but then his mind drifted to this "Maria" he had rmeemberd in the dark forest. he wasnt evil then.. what happend? he wanted to dig fouther, but hawkfrost started to kick unhappily in his sleep, and BLood shadow nosed him hte way a father would to calm a sleeping pup, and he fell back into peaceful sleep again. Blood shadow gazed apome a heart warming sight with loving eyes. the pup had actully chose to travel with HIM of all people. he would never forget the miracle that happens every day that brought this young being to life. but then his eyes hardend and his smile turned to a frown. this young pup would get cought up in many things, things he was to young to handle. and if he sent him back to his mother, he would hate him for the rst of his life.

Quake caught an unfamiliar sent in the frozen breeze."well well...whats this..."Quake growled sinisterdly,following the sent."This could be interesting..."

Blood shadow for got about everything adn realized that he was tired. he lay down his head and fell asleep. a light dusting a snow started to fall.

Quake smirked as he noticed a figure in the snow a few yards away.Dirty flakes of snow melted on contact with his warm fur."Dosn't even know im here.."He growled creeping forward.

Blood shadow's ear twisted tward Quake, but he just couldnt stay awake lond enough. but then he thought of hawkfrost. he wasnt in the war! what if he got killed? he wouldnt come back! that woke Blood shadow up wit a start. he looked into Quake's eyes and said, I have a pup with me. I wont let you take him from me. he is my duty and i intend to uphold that duty. if you want to kill something kill a hare, but not my Hawkfrost.

"Oh,but pups are all the more fun to kill."Quake stood up from his crouching position."If i was hungry,I'd kill a hare..But I'm just looking for entertainment...So I'll just kill you and your little friend."He Growled showing all his teeth.

Ive seen more frightening and powerful things then you.
the emerald floated out and shadow followed its lead. it shone in an unearthly light and cast a bright light over Blood shadow adn hawkfrost. I would stay far away from us if i was you.

"Flashy lights and threats won't be enough to scare me off!"Quake snarled and lunged at the two

Blood shadow grabed to emerald and shouted some wrods and Quake was BLasted back.

Quake landed winded in the snow."What in the world?!"He snarled."This will be more fun than i thought!"He barked and charged agian,dashing to and fro,hopeing that what ever hit him last tthime wouldn't do it agian.

Blood Shadow snarled, and the emerald started to glow red again. it was a warning....

Quake slowed."What are you?..."He growled."I've seen some strange ones in my time,but you..."He paused stepping forward."You're something else..."

He stratend up and said, My Name is Shadow. I am the most saphisticated and advanced life form on earth. i know how to command the chaos emeralds, and i can also warp away from this place if things get ot hot around here. then he stoped and he added, witha playful look in his eye, lets not get it to hot though. you might melt the snow.

Quake snorted.(his version of laughter)"Then maybe we should take this else where?Perhaps where your little rat."He flicked an ear at Hawkfrost."Wont get hurt."he sat down quietly.Normaly he would have already leapt at his enemy to deal a death blow,but something told him he wouldn't find anything satisfying about it,only a mess on his jaw."For some odd reason i don't feel compelled to kill you yet..Maybe its the cold,or maybe your little attack messed up my brain,who knows...But i do want to fight you thats for sure...That was the first time I'd been knocked off my feet in a long time..."He looked back at Shadow directly in the eye and repeated."You're something else..."

Blood Shadow smiled warmly at the canine. he had a feeling he had taped his good side. I'm a lot o f things, to a lot of people. to the humans i'm a monster, to the rebils i'm a lone alli. to the world, i'm the canine down the street.

Quake wasn't sure how to respond,it had been a long time since he had any normal conversations."Well...I..I never caught your name,what is it?"

BLood Shadow, but you may call me Shadow. how about you? who would you be?
Shadow smiled warmly to try and calm Quake from his stamering.

"My name is Quake,My younger brother's name is Makura."Quake's eyes snaped open wide."Oh no..What if he caught me 'being nice'?I'd never here the end of it.."He shook his head,then continued in a terrible inpersonation of his brother."Aand you call your self the demon of the snow,for shame!"He snorted and looked back up at Shadow."Perhaps it would be smart to get the pup somewhere warmer?"Quake tryed to get his mind off of being mocked by his brother.

Good point. Shadow looked down on the small winged pup, black wings folded up. He smiled warmly. perhaps he did have a fatherly bone in his body. Will you come with me? after the attack at the river, Shadow wasnt sure about going on alone.

"You sure you want my bad attitutde following you around?"Quake snorted.Though he did in some part of his mind want to go with him.

Shadow laughed. Like it makes a difference.
