The Blood on the Flowers

Tash moped through the flowers, his snout barely brushing against the beautiful petals. He sneezed from their pollen, and shook his fur of the annoyance. He sat, and sighed. It seems everywhere you look, someone is buried under your feet. Tash thought of his father. What would he think of him... and... Epona...?

Epona thought of her pack. they belived in love between any two... they would difenately agree to this! at that moment, Epona sees Tash. "hello Tash!! how are you today?" Epona felf her heart sing with joy.

"Hm?" Tash lifted his head from a droop, just noticing Epona. "Oh, hi," he said, his nose tingling from the flowers around him.

*Epona wriggles her nose then sneezes* "lets play!!" Epona runs up and ponces on tash.

Tash gets pushed to the ground by Epona's pounce. "Aah!" He tried to get up, but finally rolled out from under Epona's paws. "Watch out! What if someone sees us?"

"who cares? its not like they'll kill us just for playing!" Epona lick's clean a muddy spot on Tash's face.

"Forbidden--" Tash wasn't going to say love. How could it be true? He liked Epona, but... they were enemies....

"you love me dont you? i love you as well." Epona's eyes softend when she looked at Tash. "love is not forbidden. its the way you are looking at the love between us that is forbidden." "Tash, will you mate me?"

Tash's eyes widened. "But, how..? What if..."

"Tash... im not asking the packs opinion, im asking for yours. we can keep it secerit. my lips are sealed when it comes to things like this. we can mate in the forest of fog so no one will know."

Tash's eyes were darting here and there. And shook his head, and sprinted back to his homelands.

Tash quickly ran back, gave Epona a lick, and tore her bridle off. He then ran back.

"gasp!" Epona smiled. she knew she had found her love. I always knew my mate would free me of the human world. Epona looked at the city. "i have to show Tash im braver then i look." Epona ran off tward the city. I know it could be my death, but im willing to risk it!

Tash watched her run, and slowly trotted after her.
