Midnight Battle

Shadow looked around for the canine she was told to meet. It was supposed to have valuable information that the wolves could use. I hope this canine gets here soon. she thought as she sat down. Half an hour later a wolf stepped out of the dark,or was it? It..didn't seem right. "Greetings,Shadowfire. I have valuable information for the wolves. YOUR GOING TO DIE!" Shadow snarled in alarm as the hybrid leapt at her. She dodged out of the way and sprang,twisting in mid-air and landing on the hybrid. Arwen growled and threw her off,managing to land a blow of her own on Shadow's leg. Shadow's eyes seemed to darken and they both circled,watching for the enemy's next movement.

Neo laid behind a tree, not very far away. suddenly he heard two cannes battle. "maybe i should check it out" he thought and silently walked towards the direction he heard the sounds.

Shadow snarled at Arwen and leapt. Unfortunatly for the Arwen,Shadow was full wolf and she wasn't. Arwen leapt back too late and Shadow managed to bite her neck. Arwen howled(as much as a hybrid can) in fury and struggled madly,trying to break free of the wolf's grip.

Neo started to run towards the sound, unaware of two grey eyes watching him from one of the dark trees. it was Kaze, he launched towards Neo, and locked his fangs around Neo's neck. "hello puppy brat" Kaze said. "i'm not a pup. fleabag!" Neo said with a growl in his voice. Neo tried to come out of Kaze's grip. but wasn't succesful. Kaze laughed evily as he bit harder. Neo send out a small painful yelp. as he was about to get crushed by the wolf's fangs.

Shadow kept her grip on the hybrid's neck,but it was getting harder and harder. Finally she had to let go. Arwen jumped back,her neck bleeding. She darted for Shadow's side,but suddenly ran back and nipped her other side while Shadow was confused. Shadow yelped in surprise and turned around,snarling.

Kiba rushed in because he heard battling. The next thing he knew, Kinl and Shasta had thrown themselves onto him. He yelped in suprise and twisted over.

Then,Pheonix came out of nowhere and lunged at Shasta.

Meanwhile,Shadow and Arwen were both bleeding from numerus wounds. Arwen growled and leapt at Shadow,but Shadow dodged and bit the hybrid's legs. Arwen yelped and limped away,just in time to avoid Shadow's killing blow. Both refused to give up,but Shadow was more stubborn. She lunged at Arwen and bit her throat. Arwen gasped as her vision began to fade into darkness.

Neo continued trying to come out of Kaze's deadly grip. but he wasn't as stronge as the much bigger Kaze. Kaze continued laughing. and decired to bite even harder. Neo could feel the pain... this could be his last breathe. he used some powers to scream for help. Kaze didn't like this and crushed the poor dogs neck. "tss... weak doggie" Kaze said as he let go of the lifeless Neo.

Arwen,while still having a bit of breath,spat out to Shadow,"I will...hunt you down,and kill...you." Those were her dying words. The last thing she heard was Shadow's laughter as the hybrid died. Shadow then raced to fight with Pheonix.

"pathetic..." Kaze said as he walked away from Neo's body.

<ashban, ash> Wolf

Ash suddenly appered at Kaze's sholder, seemingly out of nowhere, "hello kaze, good kill back there." he said, "There were two more fights within 200 meters last time I checked."

"he was weak. too weak, he barely didn't fight back. anyways... lets check it out" Kaze said.

Corridore watched as the canines fight. Since she was a Dark Spirit,she enjoyed bloodshed. She heard a vicious snarl and was knocked off a rock by Lupo. "Not you again!" she growled. "Yes,me again! Today,you'll die!" Lupo barked.

((Lupo = light spirit,only dark spirit she likes is Jayn. Corridore = Lupo's sister,corrupted,now a dark spirit,loves bloodshed and tearing Lupo apart. Spirits have two sides all their own,light and dark.))


Corridore growled. "Ready for a good beating,sorry excuse for a spirit?" Lupo gasped and went into a fury of attacks that no one can really avoid,besides another spirit. She managed to scratch Corridore's face,though. Corridore growled as Lupo faded away into the shadows,only to reappear lunging at her. Corridore dodged the blow and bit one of Lupo's paws as she was lunging. Lupo snarled and backed away,waiting for Corridore's next attack.

"Hey Corridore! What do you call a dark spirit that has no courage and has to pick on innocents?" "What?" "A Corridore Del Lampo!" Corridore snarled at the joke made at her expense and "flew" at Lupo. Lupo dodged and nipped at her side,then went for the throat. Corridore yipped in alarm then saw Lupo try to land a killing blow. She ducked just in time to avoid death,but Lupo's teeth managed to clamp down on her ear. Corridore snarled and tore herself free. Lupo slowly circled Corridore,now looking more friendly than aggressive. But was she? "Hey Corridore,I've been thinking. Maybe I could join you on the dark side."

Kaine saw the mangled bodies of two dogs. 'What's happening here?!'

Lupo continued to circle the dark spirit. "Corridore,remember the good times we had before you were..corrupted by that nasty Dark Witch?" "Yeah,but we're supposed to be fighting eachother. Light against dark." "Well,then. I guess you'll have to come with me. TO YOUR GRAVE!" Lupo lunged at Corridore,catching her by surprise. Corridore gasped as Lupo managed to get ahold of her neck. She struggled,but Lupo's hold seemed like white hot iron. Corridore tried desperatly to get free,but couldn't. She relaxed,and started to breath slowly. Time was slowing down,but Corridore was faster than ever. She had learned this trick from Veilia,the Dark Witch. She remebered her words. Breath slowly,deeply,and time will slow down,but you will be fast. Unleash your fury onto your enemy,and you will have won. Veila had also taught her to shapeshift into a white tiger. Corridore's form slowly became a tiger,and she tore at Lupo,roaring. Lupo jumped back,surprised. Corridore snarled and leapt at Lupo,clawing her badly. Yeah,that'll leave a mark!

<Ashban, Ash> Wolf

Ash watched the two spirit wolves battle, when suddenly somthing caught his attenton.....

Corridore continued to rake her claws across Lupo. Lupo suddenly went limp,as in giving up. Corridore laughed and aimed a slash to her throat,but Lupo jumped up and exploded into a fury. Spirit wolf and tiger,together in battle. Lupo's eyes seemed to become a bright red as she bit and scratched. Corridore roared in anger and leapt on a rock,jumping down and clawing Lupo as she charged. Lupo whipped around,snarling.



((Neo and Arwen = dead. Everyone else I think is still alive. Although Lupo and Corridore may end up both being dead at the end. ))

The two spirits faced eachother,snarling. Both were bleeding from many wounds,but that rarely stopped a spirit. Corridore had become a wolf again,and Lupo was considering flying away as a raven. No..can't give up. Can't let my own sister think I'm afraid of her. Lupo desperatly searched for a weak spot. She was losing,and HAD to get the upper hand,and fast. Maybe if I could wound her legs or paws badly enough.. Lupo leapt at Corridore,looking at the throat but aiming for the paws.* Corridore twisted to avoid a bite to the neck,but didn't expect Lupo to actually attack her paws. She howled in pain as Lupo landed,and then got off. Corridore limped back,snarling.
