Feathers and Flames

Feather knocked the can's lid off. The delicious scent of KFC (lol) wafted up to her nose. She was thin now, and slowly fading away from alliances. She was skinny, and her mutation made her shy. She felt like an outcast. She grabbed the chicken with her teeth and tore it up, eating it.

Feather's white coat was black from the soot. THe soot came down off her coat and ruined the chicken. She growled with frustration. She disappered into the alley,and...OOF! SHe bumped into another dog. She growled. Here, any dirty diaper was worth much. She tensed, ready for a dog fight. She might want to strike first, or it could cost her her life.

Blazen was slammed into by another wolf, and was knocked down. His leg hurt a little, but he got up a moment later, growling. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Nothing. Get out of my way!" She growled and her fur puffed up. She leaped, and landed on Blazen, and they landed in a tussle on the ground.

Feather landed hard, breaking an ankle because of wrong position. Her eyes widened in shock when she put her foot down, and she fell to the ground.

Feather growled, but shook a little soot off her face, showing the markings. She tried to get up, but couldn't she sighed, and knew if this wolf didn't help her, she would die-and never return.

She struggled up, and tried to walk.

Feather sighed and shakily walked. She glared at Blazen and walked rather slowly in the direction of the forest.
