shadow wispered to Ulfang: "have Chaos eat the tansy in small portunes to stop her coughing, the Comfrey will south the wounds in her throat the smoke might have caused." then her jolted up out of range of Ulfangs bite.

"now why would i do that?!" shadow said to ulfang, reading his thoughts.

Ulfang growled. "Because, you hate her for that time at the river. This could be a 'clever plan' to make it seem as if I killed my own mate!"

"Im not that kind of person! look, if she dies, kill me and drag me to the city where i wont reswan. besides, if it did kill her, she would atleast be safe from the fire."

Ulfang grunted. "Fine, but if she does die, I promise that I will hunt you down myself..."

Chaos sat there, lifeless as the angry event took place.

Phantom's voice flooded into Ulfang's mind. 'Honey helps canines that have breathed smoke, Tansy for coughs.' Ulfang stared for a moment, but then used the tansy to help Chaos. They could get honey later.

Chaos's faint breathing was becoming shallow and weak.

Chaos instinctively tried to cough up the herbs being shoved down her throat. Finally, they slid down her throat, and the coughing seized.

Chaos woke up several moments later. She coughed many times, but it eventually ended. She shakily stood up, wings twitching. She looked into Ulfang's eyes with her own, clouded gray eyes.

Ulfang quickly nuzzled her, happy that nothing worse happened, but soon drew away. "We need to get out of here."

Chaos was still quite shaky, but nodded.
