Knuckles was walking in the valley... Alone. "Arrrrg... I hate it when he's late!" he growled impatiently. He was waiting for Blood Shadow, and it was starting to get boring. It's just like him to take his time when someone's waiting on him. Knux thought darkly, Perhaps he just doesn't give a darn about how much I would rather kill him then consort with his kind. Muttering as he was, he randomly stormed about the valley without a care. A bit too careless. He noticed that when he stubbed his paw on a sharp, hard rock. Startled and in pain, he snarled loudly, "CURSE IT!!!!" With a hard whack, he sent the stone flying (I believe I can flyyyyy!). He glared after it for a moment, then he sulked and continued storming through the valley.

Blood shadow, meanwhile, was in a completely different part of the valley resting on a warm, large flat rock. His lips still had the taste of blood to them, as much as he tried to lick it off. He'd done a lot today, and he thought he deserved to be well rested before meeting up with "Knuckle head", just in case. After all, he's killed five hares, two squirrels, three elk, and almost nailed a house pet if the owner hadn't come out. "Stupid wiener dog..." he mumbled when he thought of it, "It was so small I thought it was a hot dog." He sighed and stretched out his legs a little, and curled up to take a short nap.

Toxin padded through the grass that covered the valley. She hummed quietly to herself as she walked on. As always, she was alert. Possibly alert to the point of severe paranoia, but that wasn't the point. She heard a sharp cry of pain and turned her head towards the source of the noise. Going into 'stalking mode', she lowered her body to the ground and continued to investigate in a position close to that of a hunting crouch.

Knuckles continued to mumble about how annoying Blood shadow was, and now also adding the topic of, "Stupid rock!".
"If I had just stayed with the master emerald none of this would be happening!" he concluded. Growling and snarling, he whipped around as Blood shadow came to a halt a few feet behind him. "YOU'RE LATE!" He screamed, hoping to intimidate. Blood shadow mearly shrugged, "Not my fault your pi$$ed." Knuckles said softly, "Why you...." Without waiting for an answer, he jumped onto Shadow, biting. With a snarl, Blood shadow met his bites with a few of his own and threw Knuckles off. "So much for a Truce!" He said as he jumped back-words from An inraged Knuckles pouncing toward him. I can't take this guy on my own when he's like this.... He thought, still shockingly calm.

Cheza watched, amused. "Boys," she muttered to herself before bouncing up and pinning Knuckles down. She said, shockingly sweet and menacing at the same time, "You touch him one more time and I promise you, you won't live to see morning." She glared at him. "Got it? I can rip half of your face off right now." She snarled and showed her teeth, her eyes cold. "If you so much as twitch, half of your face will be gone before you can say 'rock'. I could get off you... But I honestly don't feel like it." She then twisted her head around to face Blood Shadow. "How's THAT for some nice timing, huh?" she softened her voice. "I missed you."

Blood shadow paused for a moment, stunned. What was THAT supposed to mean...? His eyes were wide, but he snapped out of it and returned to watching.

Knuckles stayed as still as he could, Yup.. I should'a stayed with the Master Emerald... He thought sadly.

Cheza glared at him. "Hmph." she muttered, and climbed off him and disappeared. She sighed and thought, he doesn't even remember me... he saved my life and he doesn't remember me! She padded to a stream, and she hated herself. "I could just die!" she wailed. She moaned and dropped down by the water's side, and looked at her reflection.

(oooooooooooooooooooooo yah... I remember that now LUL Duh, my typing was AWFUL back then O_O)

Blood shadow watched her off, he had forgotten what had took place so many months ago.... Knuckles still lay on the ground, still stunned, and Blood shadow took advantage of what time he had. "Hey Knux, I'll meet with you later." He said before taking off after Cheza. "HEY!!" Knuckles yelled after him, rolling over, "YOU GET BACK HERE!!!" He growled and sighed, Yet AGAIN, Blood shadow had ran off on him. This sucks. He thought.

Blood shadow didn't hear Knuckles and if he did he didn't care. He slowed to a halt when he saw Cheza. Not sure what to say, he bubbled out a few things hoping to get somewhere that he could work from, "Uh, Cheza! Hi, I uh..." He pinned his ears back embarest, Fail. He thought.

Cheza let go a big gust of air. "Hi." she said flatly. "Which is it? Totally ignore me or act like a blubbering idiot?"

Blood Shadow sighed, and said nothing. He plopped down beside her and nosed her neck, "I'm sorry I forgot.." He admitted shamefully, "Things have gotten wild for my lately, and I wouldn't even remember some-one killing me." Poor Shadow was really at a loss for words, so he just said what came to him. It's not like he could think of anything better. Epic-fail. He added to his thoughts.

Cheza stared at the ground. She turned toward him and buried her head in his fur miserably. "At least you're not a freak, like me..." She hated her human eye. It ruined her. "I'm worse than a freak of nature, because this isn't nature."

Blood Shadow licked her head, attempting comfort her. "Actually, I am a freak." He admitted calmly "I'm a human-made creature; I didn't even start out wolf." He smiled, he didn't really say that often. In fact, he used to absolutely Hate himself for being so. Only recently, he started not to care. Blood Shadow curled his tail around her and snuggled her closer. Yet another thing he wouldn't do often.

Cheza objected, "My dad was made the same way you were."

Suddenly, a cackle rose from the bushes and a near-black wolf slipped out from behind them. It had an almost insane look on it's face. "My, my, what do we have here?" she muttered, sneering at the two wolves in front of her.
