Zuuvio lay down, but as soon as he did, Leaf and Sun jumped on to him. He laughed at the pup's playfulness.

Zuuvio helped to carry the pups into the den. "1...2...3... Oh no." he murmured. Then, he felt a strong jerk on his tail. It was the fourth pup, Z. (Zuuvio's nickname for Zuuvio Jr.). "Come on, Z, time for bed."

Z let out a whimper of protest, but followed his parents. Zuuvio padded into the chamber that was made the pups' sleeping area and let Z find the bedding. Z still didn't like the idea of going to bed so early. "Don't worry, son. The faster you fall asleep, the faster tomorrow will come. Maybe we can go somewhere to play tomorrow." Zuu said, pulling more moss over his tired pups.
