Chaos also looked around. A small river snaked through the valley below. Chaos's mouth was dry and an awful taste set inside it. Ignoring it, she continued to look for a suitable cave.

Chaos was sick of it. She was tired, hungry, and thirsty. I just can't take this anymore! She turned to the cliff. Breathing heavily, she thought of her choices.

Chaos shook her head, and turned back to Ulfang. Wait... she thought. She looked up on the cliff above them. Between to slabs of orange stone was a wide crack in the mountain face. "Ulfang, look," she said.

Ulfang looked up and saw the cave. Despite his weakness, he got up and trotted around to the crack in the stone.

Chaos sat when they reached the crack. She looked in. "It's more than it seems," she said, voice echoing in the rather spacious cave. She took a single step in.
