Chaos thought for a moment. "Death is hard to get through," she said, looking up at Ulfang. "But it's never to late to start over." She outstretched her ings a small bit, ready to flee.

Maybe this new wolf he met understood why he wasn't like other wolves. Finally, someone who wouldn't refer to him as 'That grumpy wolf over there'. "Well, I don't think we told each other our names. I'm Ulfang. It means 'Wolf Fang'."

"Chaos," said the winged wolf, "Pure Chaos. I... came from a human lab. They called me 'Pure Chaos,' so it stuck." She sighed. She wished for a better name.

"Too many canines think others should always have great names, great attitudes, just wanting to live in their own perfect world... This world is far from perfect, they need to get used to it. If they hate canines like you and I, that's just too bad for them. We have as much right to live as the 'perfect' ones..."

(Sorry I didn't reply earlier, had to have a reading assessment and forgot to log out. On the good side, I apparently read at a 10th grade level and I'm 11 (nearly 12))

Ulfang's only 'reply' was another smile. Though not as rare as Chaos' ,his smiles were quite hard to see, aside from the ones he wore just after he killed an enemy.

Chaos looked into the sky, which was dotted with wispy clouds. She stretched her wings, not knowing ho long they've been there talking. It was great she found another wolf like her.
